Our story
It is hard for new club members today to believe that until a few years ago there was no free diving activity in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Corona crisis has created an opportunity for us to stop life and remember to breathe.
The need to breathe and maintain the health of the body and mind is a clear and overwhelming need, and from it was born the Tel Aviv Freediving Club.
Currently, over 500 active members are registered with the club, and thanks to them, we go diving throughout the year.
We adhere to high and strict safety standards to ensure that every dive is a positive experience.

About us
Let's dive into a deeper acquaintance with the Tel Aviv Freediving Club team.
Tel Aviv Freediving Club was founded in 2020, and is located in the Tel Aviv Marina.
Our goal is to promote and develop free diving in Israel and enable continuous access to the sea and deep waters in the center of the country.
The club operates in full cooperation with the Sea Time Yacht Club.
All of our courses and training are conducted using Sea-Time's highest-level sailing vessels.
In addition to freediving training for certified divers, we offer freediving courses at all levels; from introductory courses to instructor courses.
All of our courses are courses from the world's leading freediving organization - AIDA .
With us, you can learn and practice free diving without going down to Eilat and without taking days off from work and family.
We offer a unique evening course that allows you to study the theoretical part of the course in the evening after work and practice the practical part in the early morning hours, and then continue working after a hot shower at the marina.
The club chooses to emphasize building and strengthening the local community, and therefore social activity is part of the club's routine.
You can come and listen to lectures with us at the marina, participate in workshops on a variety of topics, and go on trips in Israel and around the world.
The founder of the Tel Aviv Freediving Club and the head instructor is Shlomi Goldstein.
Shlomi Goldstein set several Israeli records in free diving and dived to a maximum depth of more than 120 meters on a single breath of air.
